Traumatic Brain Injury Ombudsman Program
BIANC has identified family members and individuals with brain injury experience to provide education and help others in their effort to resolve problems with getting the services they need. We are still looking for a qualified individual to represent the eastern part of NC who could volunteer with our Greenville office. BIANC has selected individuals who are able and willing to volunteer 4 to 12 hours per week and learn about rights and services available for individuals with brain injuries in school systems, nursing homes and other public services. Training is underway and space and supervision are being provided at the four BIANC Family and Community Offices.

If you'd like to learn more about how you can help here in North Carolina, please watch this video. It includes information from the BIANC President Sandra Farmer and our Training Coordinator Jamie Pierce and focuses on one of NC TBI group homes, Lippard Lodge.
