One of the most important things to the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina is our inter-connectedness as a community. Community doesn't always mean perfection-- it means relationships. Sometimes relationships aren't perfect, but we certainly hope they are meaningful.
If you are looking to join or start a local brain injury support group, visit our Support Groups page in this section. You will find our list of support groups across the state, and we encourage everyone to visit a support group near you to meet others dealing with similar issues and to find out more about how you can become involved in our community.
On our community pages you will also find writings by survivors and family members and you can hear their voices. There is information about recreational events such as Camp Carefree and about how to stay fit and there are links to photos. Do you have a photo or photos from a BIANC event, if so, send them to us at shawn.chase@bianc.net and we may add them to our website gallery. Visit the Recreational and Social and the Health and Fitness links in this section and let us know of other events, tips, or links that might be helpful to add.

Please give the Brain Injury Association of NC a call (919-833-9634) to tell us how we can help you find resources in your community or email us at bianc@bianc.net to let us know what you need.
