Brain Injuries, Social Networking Sites, and Social Capital
What is this study about? You are invited to participate in a research study being conducted by faculty members at Northcentral University in Scottsdale, Arizona and Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. We are interested in your thoughts and opinions about how you use online social networking sites like Facebook.
What will be asked of me? You will be asked to answer some questions where you check off rating scales about your life and how you use online social networking sites. It is estimated that it will take 30 minutes for you to fill out the surveys.
Are there any risks? Although there are no known risks in this study, some of the questions might be personally sensitive since we ask a few questions about your brain injury and your sense of well-being. This can be distressing to some people. However, you may stop the study at any time. You can also choose not to answer any question that you feel uncomfortable answering.
