CERTIFIED BRAIN INJURY SPECIALIST (CBIS) TRAINING

A Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer (CBIST) designation is also available that allows professionals to conduct CBIS courses and administer the necessary exams. The CBIS and CBIST certifications are developed and administered through the Brain Injury Association of America. These designations require an applicant to pass a standardized exam, possess at least a high school education, and complete 500 hours of paid work experience with brain injury in the past 3 years.
