Safe Driving Saves Lives
Every year in NC, there are an average of 3000 pedestrians and bicyclists hit by people driving motor vehicles.
In collaboration with others, BikeWalk NC and Brain Injury Association of North Carolina are hosting a public, virtual educational “lunch and learn” event for any motorist interested in better ensuring the safety of all road users. This session will provide tactical driving strategies for keeping pedestrians, cyclists and other vulnerable road users safe. The session will also integrate the stories of people directly impacted by crashes with motorists.
